Why Should You Make A Will?
If you do not make a will, the State decides what will happen to your possessions in the event of your death. This can mean that your friends and relatives or even your favourite charities do not benefit, or else they may receive considerably less than you intended them to do.
For unmarried couples, or those not in a civil partnership, but co-habiting, it is even more important to make a will as the law does not recognise these relationships as having the same rights as a husband and wife, or civil partnership.
