Yahoo! has acquired the (formerly paid) analytics provider Index Tools and will eventually open up the service to everybody for free.
This is great news for us users because the competition between the two giants Google and Yahoo in the web analytics sphere will only lead to even better tools for us to improve and measure our websites.
