Who are HelioSphera?
HelioSphera are a European company who make solar PV cells using micromorph thin film which is extremely reliable. They produce world leading solar panels by using advanced technology which they share with other technology institutions throughout Europe. This makes their products very long lasting and extremely efficient. They make their panels in a purpose built, modern factory in Greece to the highest of standards, which is the largest one of its kind in Europe. They also have shareholders in America and a sales office located in Germany.
What makes their panels different?
The advanced design technology that is used to make HelioSphera panels, means that they give a higher amount of electricity in cloudy conditions than other panels. This means that they are able to be used where standard panels are not suitable. Because their panels use far less silicon than normal solar panels any shortage of materials worldwide does not affect them to a great degree. This also means that they can be used in areas that are partly shaded or in countries with very high temperatures meaning they are reliable in any area regardless of the weather conditions. Where these panels are used
Until 2010 HelioSphera panels had been used mainly on small projects but a new project is now being run in Germany to provide sufficient power to run an entire solar plant. This plant is the largest one in the world, run completely using micromorph technology.
